About Hubbard Floral Press

Hey there! I’m Anna, the founder of Hubbard Floral Press.

When I was planning my wedding in 2023, I knew that I wanted to preserve my bouquet. Being DIY-minded, I took on the challenge of preserving my bouquet on my own. Leading up to my wedding, I prepared by buying flower presses, spending hours researching and watching how-to videos, and practicing pressing several bouquets of flowers. I spent the day after my wedding carefully taking apart my bouquet and pressing each individual flower and petal. After waiting patiently for weeks for the flowers to dry, I finally put together my finished, preserved bouquet. I fell in love with the process, and I’ve been hooked ever since!

I started preserving wedding bouquets for several friends and family, and eventually I knew I wanted to keep doing this. That’s how Hubbard Floral Press began!

The name “Hubbard” is an homage to my favorite place, Hubbard Lake, located in northern Michigan. My grandparents lived on this lake when I was growing up, and I have some of my fondest memories with family at the lake. My grandparents, especially my Grandma Jean, instilled a love of flowers and crafts in me that I still have today. In a way, I don’t think Hubbard Floral Press would exist if it weren’t for her.

I truly put a lot of thought, care and love into each bouquet that I preserve. I can’t wait to make something beautiful for you that preserves your flowers and memories!
